A Truly Sad Day

This is a short post. You'll have to go read about it yourself, because I'm not going to try to say anything wonderful or meaningful about this one. Four days ago, the world lost one of the greatest science fiction writers ever known, Sir Arthur C. Clarke. I only just found out not even 15 minutes ago. First, it was Robert Jordan in December 2007, now Clarke. The storytellers of my youth are old and dying, who will write the stories that carry me through middle age?
